  • Maressa Freitas

Meet Maressa, our compassionate Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director with 19+ years experience as an RN and 7 years experience as an NP in high-acuity tertiary care. In her years of practice, Maressa has developed expertise in vascular access and IV therapy, including ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs, midlines, PICCSs, and central line management. She is board certified in vascular access with a strong focus on safe, precise, patient-centered care. When she’s not running an event or client session with Hydrata, she practices in procedural oncology, performing bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures with intrathecal chemotherapy, and skin biopsies. Her combined advanced technical skill and benevolent support for patients undergoing complex treatments captures only a glimpse of the incredible healthcare professional and person that she is. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and embracing spontaneous road trips.

  • Pamela Miles

Meet Pamela, our healthcare hero with a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. With 17 years of nursing practice, Pamela prides herself in providing bedside excellence throughout her career in the emergency department, the perianesthesia care setting as well as in nursing education. Certified in ambulatory care and trauma nursing, Pamela provides clinical guidance to novice recovery room nurses and nursing students and currently sits on the advisory board for the Health Technologies shop at the Cape Cod Tech High School in Harwich. When she’s not bridging the language gap with the Portuguese-speaking community in healthcare, she enjoys strength training and making memories with her twins.
